Ms. Fischer has been educating children since 1999 when she graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. She has taught high school English and Title I Reading and Math for elementary through high school students before moving on to the school library. Before coming to Waterford Graded School District, she worked as a Library Assistant in the Wauwatosa School District. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family, which includes her five year old daughter, in her spare time.
Mrs. Suszka is Ms. Fischer's Library Aide at Trailside Elementary. She has been a Library Aide at Trailside for 10 years. When her children were younger, Mrs. Suszka decided to leave a career as a software trainer. When her youngest child entered kindergarten she was not interested in going back into the corporate world, so it was fortunate there was an opening in the library at Trailside. Mrs. Suszka enjoys reading all genres, but is a particular fan of children's literature. She feels lucky to have had this job for ten years where she is able to work with children in a warm and friendly setting. Her own children are now in high school and in her spare time she loves to travel, cook healthy meals, go for bike rides, kayak, and read (of course!).
Mrs. Zabel is Ms. Fischer's morning Library Aide at Woodfield Elementary.
Mrs. Orlick is Ms. Fischer's afternoon Library Aide at Woodfield Elementary.
